Class 26 Graduation
The Mosaic Center held the graduation ceremony for the women of Class 26 on Thursday, April 26 at New Life Lufkin. Mosaic Center staff and volunteers, former graduates, and family and friends of the graduates attended the ceremony. We packed the sanctuary with over 275 guests! Pastor Tony Holder opened the ceremony in prayer. Each graduate spoke regarding her experience during the past 12 weeks of class and her future plans. It was a memorable evening, and we are so proud of our graduates! A special thanks to New Life Lufkin, Pastors Tony and Tammy Holder, Alex Fleniken, and others for hosting graduation luncheon, graduation and reception.
Mosaic Center accepting applications for Executive Director Position
The Board of Directors is seeking applications and resumes of maturing Christian women for this role. If you or someone you know is interested in applying, you can view the Job Description here, which contains instructions on how to apply.
Donna Busler, Executive Director at The Mosaic Center for the past ten years, has taken the position, Director, Angelina College Center for Nonprofit Leadership. This brand new program will bless Angelina County for years to come. The program will educated, empower and encourage nonprofit leaders, board members, and those who want to be involved in nonprofit leadership. By strengthening our nonprofit sector, we strengthen our county as a whole.
While we are sad to see Donna leave leadership here at The Mosaic Center, we are confident God has called her to this new position and will use her giftset to impact others in different ways. God will use all of her knowledge and experience from The Mosaic Center to allow her to come beside and commission other nonprofit leaders towards achieving their goals. Her heart’s calling is the same – to touch more people in Jesus’ name.
We pray God’s biggest blessings on this new program and Donna’s new role in the community. Pictured here is Donna at the ribbon cutting for the Center for Non-Profit Leadership at Angelina College, the morning of September 26th, 2018.
