Class 27 Graduation

The Mosaic Center held the graduation ceremony for the women of Class 27 on Thursday, November 15 at First United Methodist Church. Mosaic Center staff and volunteers, former graduates, and family and friends of the graduates attended the ceremony. We filled their newly renovated Henderson Chapel. Pastor Laura Campbell opened the ceremony in prayer. Each graduate spoke regarding her experience during the past 12 weeks of class and her future plans. It was an incredibly moving evening, and we are so proud of our graduates! A special thanks to First United Methodist Church, Pastor Laura Campbell, Lance Scott, Rodney Thompson, Second Mile/Fellowship Sunday School Class, and others for hosting graduation and the reception following.

FBC Christmas Party

This December First Baptist Church of Lufkin hosted a Women and Children’s Christmas party for The Mosaic Center and Buckner Family Pathways. This is always such a fun night because we invite all past graduates and their children. It’s so good to catch up and fellowship! There were several craft stations for the children and a spot to decorate Christmas cookies. Santa Claus even made an appearance! Dinner and dessert was served to all, and everyone played a few rounds of Bingo. The highlight of the night was when Brother Mark read the Christmas Story of Jesus’ birth. Thank you, First Baptist Church, for all of your hard work in making this incredible party happen. It is always one of the highlights of our year!
