Imagine a marvelous, colorful tiled mosaic, and how each piece is equally important to make the outcome beautiful and complete. We believe the same is true for us. With each volunteered hour of instruction, donated ream of paper, and dollar given we feel the community saying, “What you’re doing matters, and I want to be a part of making this ministry happen!”
your piece matters in our Mosaic too.
Listed above are just a few examples of how far each dollar can go – all are so appreciated! We want you to join our team of supporters! With God’s direction and your support, we will continue to grow our education programs and offer ongoing graduate opportunities. Your donation to The Mosaic Center will change the lives of women in our community in a way that echoes throughout Angelina County, East Texas, and beyond.
The Mosaic Center, Inc., is a 501 c3 non-profit. You can donate securely online through the link above.
We are currently in the middle of our end of the year fundraiser. Our featured graduate for this campaign is Donna, a graduate of Class 7. She credits The Mosaic Center as the catalyst for her transformation.
“It’s because of Mosaic that I became a CNA and Nurse, and I’m forever grateful for that. They never judge anyone, they love people through Christ and their resources, and they help those who are receptive to help, unconditionally.”
Donna had been through it all and was at the end of herself. Stuck in an abusive marriage, unemployed, and caring for her 7-year-old child, she was afraid and isolated.“I felt worthless, helpless and hopeless.”
When Donna made the painful decision to divorce her husband, her attorney advised her to call The Mosaic Center. She had been out of the workforce for 10 years and needed to brush up on her computer skills. “I still laugh at God’s sense of humor and divine appointment; He didn’t send me to The Mosaic Center for just the computer skills, but to receive an outpouring of HIS love and healing.”
After Donna graduated from The Mosaic Center in 2008, she got her CNA license and began her career as a nurse. She is now remarried to a wonderful man, and currently works for the University of Texas Medical Branch in Huntsville.
“Beaten people don’t need hand-outs, they need God’s love. I had been beaten down by life and Mosaic lifted me up.”
