Hearts for Hope Dinner and Auction

Food. Fellowship. Fun.

The Mosaic Center’s 2018 Hearts for Hope Dinner and Auction was a night to remember! On March 27, 2018, we filled the Pitser Garrison Convention Center with a sold out crowd. Tara Watson Watkins carried us through the evening as our Master of Ceremony. David Calhoun of Texas Custom Catering returned to cater his delicious Chicken Fried Steak dinner. The dinner was served by Lufkin Rotary. Students from Huntington High School served drinks and helped bus tables. Reese Hubbard made his knock-out debut as auctioneer. Entertainment was provided by crowd-favorite, the GMC Trio. Jean Chapman was honored as Volunteer of the Year, also known as “The Emily Award.” Auction opportunities included a Live Auction, Silent Auction, Dessert Auction, Rose Table, and Raffle. One-of-a-kind Redento Raffinto vase, created by Chris McGahan of Bella Forte Glass Studio, was won by Harold and Conni Estes, who plan to exhibit the vase to churches throughout Lufkin to tell its story. Raffle winners were Stephanie Olford for the $500 Sam’s Club Gift Card and Richard Burleson for the DJI Spark Quadcopter Drove. Linda Daniel won the Tory Burch purse in the Rose Raffle.

Pictures were provided by Tara Graham of Gather Snap Photography, and The Big Cheese Photobooth Co. provided the photobooth.
