Reflections of Mosaic Volunteers
When recently asked the question, “What brought you into the house…why do you donate your time to The Mosaic Center,” a group of volunteers reflected on their personal journeys.
- “After retiring from the public school system where I taught math, I was looking for a place to volunteer. Coming to The Mosaic Center and seeing the Body of Christ functioning and serving together so well was beautiful” – Connie
- “Nine years ago, when I retired, my boss came to me and told me that the Mosaic Center was looking for someone to teach computer classes. I spoke to his wife (who was a faithful Mosaic volunteer) and decided that day that I would stop working here and start working for the Lord!” – Rose
- “I was at a place in my life where I knew that I needed to give back to others. What I have learned from The Mosaic Center is the truth that when you invest time and knowledge in another human being, you get so much more back in return!” – Charles
- “God put me here at The Mosaic Center to continue learning myself and I’m not done yet…so I’ve come back again this year!” – Ryce
