The Mosaic Center Announces
Graduation of Class 32

We proudly announce our 2021 Spring Job and Life Skills Core Program graduates.  Pictured above are from left, Sarah Cooper, Julie Gore, Janis Avery, and LaVira Deason.  These ladies persevered through the challenges of online Zoom classes to be able to join us in-house for the last two weeks to finish their training.  It was delightful to see students and teachers come together face to face . . . it was like seeing old friends reunite!   The graduation celebration, held on April 22, 2021 was hosted by Central Church of Christ, Lufkin with a special gathering of friends and family.  We are so grateful they were willing to share their beautiful facilities during this time.

The event included a special moment that touched us all, as Carlie DuPlechin  shared her story behind the writing of “Mosaic Heart” and sang her song.  Board President, Michelle Briley, encouraged the graduates with words of affirmation and the scripture,  Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of  Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6.   Executive Director, Rebecca Reid  also shared from her heart,  “What a blessing  it has been to watch these ladies grow in strength and faith as they determined within themselves to finish the work.”  Each graduate shared how the classes at The Mosaic Center made a positive impact on their lives. They are now more confident and equipped to move forward with their plans.  Each one has taken the time needed to choose to map out a plan of success, making important job and life decisions.  These ladies are now a part of our Mosaic family for life.   We will stay in contact with them and regularly provide them with updates and job opportunities available in the community.

The Mosaic Center Announces

Graduation of Class 31

Please join us in celebrating our graduates of Class 31!  They deserve a great round of applause!!! These three amazing women persevered through The Mosaic Center’s Fall 2020 Semester of the Job & Life Skills Core Program and stood tall at their completion on Thursday, November 12th. Board President, Michelle Briley, brought a deeply encouraging message regarding how much God values each of them and how He has created them with His image and wants them to have confidence in who He has created them to be. These ladies are very gifted and have truly been given a clear understanding of their value and potential for continued personal growth. We are so proud of all their accomplishments! They are moving forward with hope for their future and plans for success!

We also want to recognize our teachers, mentors, receptionists and lunch providers for stepping up and pouring out from hearts of faith into the successful accomplishment of the mission of The Mosaic Center. YOU truly made a tremendous impact on bringing forth lasting transformation in these precious ladies.

“What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds.” 1 Cor 2:9.
