The Mosaic Center Announces
Graduation of Class 34

The Mosaic Center proudly recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of each of the graduates of Class 34.  Pictured above from back left is Carrie Mooney, Erica Jackson, Cassandra Hunt, Pamela Amaya, Betty Seneriz and front left is Kimberly Jones, Mia Guillen, Renee Riley,  Alissa Cook , Jennifer Authur.  Congratulations Ladies!!

The Graduation Ceremony and Reception was held on Thursday, April 28 at Keltys First Baptist in Lufkin.  Over 100 family members, friends and volunteers came out in support of the ladies as they completed their 12 Week Job and Life Skills training.

These 10 Ladies are world-changers. They have made a decision to not be satisfied with ‘less than.’ They decided to take time to invest in themselves and took 12 weeks to step outside of their comfort zones and assume the humble position of being a learner. Countless volunteers spent day after day investing their time and talent into these ladies lives in order to create a more loving and supportive environment for others. What rewards have these investments brought about already and will continue on? These 10 ladies have invested in the lives of their families. They have invested in the lives of their friends. They have invested in the lives of everyone they have and will come in contact with daily.
So, look at their faces and then look for them in our community because they will be the ones changing this old world into a better place for us all.
They are led by Almighty GOD to not just stand by and complain but to become involved and make a difference.
My life is richer and blessed by knowing them…
Thank you Pamela, Mia, Renee, Alissa, Jennifer, Carrie, Erica, Cassandra, Pamela, and Betty.
Ten of the most loving and dynamic ladies I know! God Bless you!”  –  Vicki Jones, Jobs for Life teacher

The change was evident as they shared their personal testimonies and then “signed” their Praise song, “Look What You’ve Done” – taught and directed by Cookie Yeates.

Our graduates are an important part of The Mosaic Center.  We will continue to stay in touch with our graduates by posting job openings, job fairs and uplifting scriptures on their Team Mosaic Facebook page. We also offer various opportunities throughout the year to reconnect, such as “Family Fun Day” at the Ellen Trout Zoo in late Spring. We are so thankful for Class 34, the Teachers, Mentors, Receptionists, House Moms, Lunch Providers and many other volunteers that are faithful to serve this growing ministry.

“What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard.

It has never even entered our minds.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
